At the West Seattle (Admiral) Library: The Stories of the Stars is a non-stop kid-friendly puppet-romp full of excitement and fun for everyone. Cheer for heroes and titans alike!
Learn about Greek and Roman myths and learn valuable lessons through stories brought to life by Tears of Joy Theatre. Explore how astronomy, constellations, and math have been used to calculate the seasons and navigate the seas. Tears of Joy Theatre has been performing cultural and educational stories nationwide for children and families for 47 years and believes in the beauty, power and vitality of puppetry as a unique theatrical experience for audiences of all ages. For ages 7-12.
This program is part of this year’s Summer of Learning program Explore Your World!, which encourages reading and activities around science, technology, technology, arts and math. We are offering over 250 free youth programs throughout the city this summer. You can pick up a Summer Action Guide at any Library location beginning June 24th.
Library events and programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required.
Space is limited at library events. Please come early to make sure you get a seat. Due to the fire code, we can’t exceed the maximum capacity for our rooms.
