(1) Boka Kouyate and The
Djeliyah Band (Orchestrated by the multi-talented Djely Aboubacar “Boka”
Kouyaté from Guinea, West Africa. Boka
connects rich traditional music to Global music; a harmonic fusion between the
traditional Griot music, the afro beat and the modern Guinea music. Performance
includes music, drum and dance.)
(2) Deseo Carmin
(Sultry fusion of Latin, Jazz-Funk & passionate Flamenco. Stella is a professional dancer, singer/songwriter, guitarist and percussionist.)
(3) Comfort Food
(named ‘best alternative jazz band in 2019’ by Earshot Jazz. They play jazz, African rhythms and soul with lots of percussion, improvisation, blues, and traditional dance music and often host International guests.)
(4) The Lion of Judah Band
(consists of a group of singers and players from the Virgin Islands,
Ethiopia, Hawaii, and the local Puget Sound region. Their music consists of a
blend of classic ska, dance hall, roots reggae, and calypso fused in a uniquely
modern style.)
