We will be back in local bars & cafés in September, but for August, we’ll be reading in the great outdoors. Bring a book and join us for one or both of our very casual August gatherings at Alki Beach.

You can find hosts at each end of the beach and in the middle, but feel free to read wherever you find space and are comfortable! You might opt to bring: a beach blanket, a chair, an umbrella for shade, or just yourself & a fun read.

Part 1: A nighttime gathering Thursday August 3 from 7 – 9pm

7:00 – 7:30pm: Settle in on the beach
7:30 – 8:30pm: Silent reading hour
8:30 – 9:00pm: Chat, or keep reading

Part 2: A daytime gathering Sunday August 13 from 10am – 12pm

10:00 – 10:30am: Settle in on the beach
10:30 – 11:30am: Silent reading hour
11:30am – 12:00pm: Chat, or keep reading
