A community cafe and storytelling event with Duwamish Valley neighbors and UW scientists Joel Kaufman and Edmund Seto.

South Seattle’s Duwamish Valley has high levels of industrial and traffic-related air pollution, as well as high rates of asthma and cardiovascular disease. Join local neighbors and UW researchers to learn about air pollution and hear the latest updates on community interventions and policies designed to improve health.

Light snacks will be served; no host bar and full menu available. Spanish, Vietnamese and Somali interpretation provided.
