Water plays a critical role in how our gardens grow, particularly in the dry summers.

Registration is required.

Water is integral to a healthy garden, both in terms of the needs of your plants and in how it moves in your landscape. Starting with understanding the big picture of local watersheds in the Pacific Northwest and how that affects your garden’s hydrology you can determine your water needs including stormwater, drought and soil, and watering management. We will discuss rain gardens, cisterns, watering tools and healthy soil in this class.
