What do you do when the U.S. Government asks you to move and promises to provide food & shelter, etc., but only provides a cup of flour & fat? You survive by making fry bread.

The Duwamish Native Food Program is sponsored by the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods & 4Culture. Bi-monthly program, 2nd & 4th Sundays, February-July.

Currently in the Duwamish Art Gallery– Roger Fernandes: Proof of Spirit. New works by master Salish artist & storyteller reflect on local native culture & beliefs.
