Mioposto Admiral is hosting a Dine Out for a local nonprofit called Cross out Cancer next Tuesday, February 26th from 4-10pm. A portion of proceeds from the evening will be donated to the organization. Dine in, take out, delivery via Caviar, and retail sales are all ways people can support.

Cross Out Cancer is a non-profit organization that began in Tampa, Florida, almost three years ago in 2015. It was started by a high school junior, and their mission was to combine their love of cross country with the passion of serving pediatric cancer patients and to bring about awareness of childhood cancer. Fast forward to December 2016, Cross Out Cancer was established in Seattle and was on track to their first race in May of 2017! With a completely student-led board of 20 representatives from high schools across the Greater Seattle area, our board is largely made up of people with a particular interest or connection to childhood cancer.

Our goal is to bring about awareness of pediatric oncology and give high school students the opportunity to impact the members of their community. Our organization has joined with Seattle Children’s Hospital to host an annual public running event to unite the community in a common effort to support families battling cancer in the Seattle area.
