We’ll watch the speech live, enjoy each other’s company, and make plans for the weekend of action on September 8th and 9th. The convention marks an important milestone in an election year — it’s the first time that many Americans will tune in to the 2012 campaign.

8:00-8:15: West Seattle volunteer team says a few words about why it’s important to volunteer to re-elect the President, why they personally are volunteering and what upcoming events are available for people to get involved.
