One more weekend traffic alert: Lane closures on 2 viaducts

In addition to the city traffic alerts we shared here – here’s a third one involving weekend lane closures on the Spokane Street Viaduct and Alaskan Way Viaduct:

On Saturday, May 17, from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., SDOT will close the
right lane both eastbound and westbound on the Spokane Street Viaduct
from I-5 to SR 99 while making repairs to potholes in the roadway.

SDOT will continue the pothole repair work on the Spokane Street
Viaduct on Sunday, May 18th, from 4:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The left lane
will be closed both eastbound and westbound on the viaduct from I-5 to
SR 99.

During the lane closures all on- and off-ramps will remain open on
Saturday and Sunday.

In addition, on Saturday, May 17, Seattle Department of Transportation
(SDOT) crews will close the southbound far right lane of the Alaskan Way
Viaduct 200 yards north of Pine Street from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in
order to make repairs to the joints in the decking.

Funny, but I haven’t noticed any bad potholes Spokane Street Viaduct – maybe the driver following 5 feet behind me takes my attention away from. :-)

Sorry, comment time is over.
