Saturday, October 10 at 7:30 pm at Kenyon Hall, enjoy a performance by Whateverly Brothers and Pint and Dale.

William Pint and Felicia Dale celebrate the ocean in song, and The Whateverly Brothers promise “homemade harmonies with instrumental frosting.” Put them together and you’ve got a classic only-in-Seattle evening of down-home entertainment.

The Whateverly Brothers are very excited to get to perform again with Pint and Dale at Kenyon Hall, a wonderful place for entertainment of all kinds. Kenyon Hall is famous for their yummy root beer floats and has an amazing 1927 Mighty Wurlitzer, which the manager is fond of playing during intermissions. It has all the actual bells and whistles one of those things should have.

The Whateverly Brothers offer tight harmonies, Celtic music, lots of known or obscure folk music, rock & roll, sea shanties, and WHATEVER ELSE they can dig out of their multitudinous repertoire. Their obvious pleasure in performing is infectious—You will tap your toes and sing along as the Brothers employ their own special musical style. They are a trio again, yeah!! and entertaining as ever! The members are Dan Roberts, Chris Glanister and now Rob Kneisler, who is, among other things, a masterful guitar player. Their reportoire goes from “Old Man River” to “Yellow Submarine” to “The Irish Rover” to “Leavingof Liverpool”. Their music comes from the four directions. Ya just never know.

The Bros are honored to share the bill with our friends Pint and Dale. Here is what a couple of reviews say:
“Pint and Dale are local favorites and international touring artists, known for their Music of the Sea. “William Pint and Felicia Dale rank among North America’s most exciting interpreters of music based in the traditions of the British Isles and France’s unconventional but spine-tingling unique and mesmerizing!”
Tom Nelligan, Dirty Linen Magazine
“Drawing on several cultures, Pint and Dale perform traditional and modern music and songs reflecting the immense vitality of those who live and work on the sea. Their music fits into the world of modern folk, rock and popular song, but it’s rich with the myth, narrative, rhythm, rhyme and lyric associated with the days of the tall ships. Their airtight harmonies, solid musical arrangements, and flair for the theatricality of song, make Pint and Dale one of the best duos around.”

You really should come see what these two bands have concocted for you. And don’t forget to sample one of their famous root beer floats (for a measly $1.00). Mmmmmm Last, but certainly not least, is the old, but Mighty Wurlitzer, in working condition, which we may get to hear if we are lucky. Its a wonder to behold.
