On November 4, 2014, Seattle voters approved Proposition 1B (Ordinance 124509), which will fund the four-year initial phase of the Seattle Preschool Program, which will build toward serving 2,000 children in 100 classrooms by 2018.
The City of Seattle Office for Education will host a series of 6 Community Meetings across the Seattle area. Community Meetings will be an opportunity for community members and key stakeholders to learn more about the various elements of a quality preschool experience, while also sharing their perspective about how each element should be implemented and supported.
