From Eric at Mission in the Admiral District (read about it on their site too):

We are having a Cinco De Mayo Pig Roast at Mission-Latin Restaurant & Lounge this Saturday starting at noon.

We partnered with our neighbors at The Swinery. They got us two 70lb pigs and brined them for us all week. They are going to cook the first one for us Friday night and, we’re going to roast the other one at Mission Saturday afternoon. Should be fun!

Cinco de Mayo – Saturday May 5th! Pork! Pork! Pork!

Pig Roast Party – with help from our neighbors at The Swinery

Open for lunch at noon, party goes till 2am. Margarita specials from Cuervo. Beer specials from Dos Equis

No Cover.

All ages till the DJ starts at 8pm. Come in early for some hog. When it’s gone, it’s gone.

The family just came back from Mission, so I wanted to let folks know that it is actually pig in the coffin, or puerco al ataud, for those Spanish speaking people out there.

It is delicious, you should get there before they run out.
