While having a delightful meal at La Chingona this week, Sandra, the owner shared that they are being mercilessly harassed by the new owner of their building who is trying to evict them.

They are engaged in a legal battle with this landlord, who took ownership without negotiating the existing long term leases. He already removed their festive patio.

I asked what we could do to be of support, and she answered that dining at their restaurant as often as we could with be a big help.

So I am putting it out to the you, the West Seattle Community to please go support this lovely eatery and its dynamic, kind staff!!! This establishment is a treasure.
