Brown Water at 50th & Alaska. Anybody else?  Do we know why?  Did they release fire hydrants yesterday?

Northbound 99 was down to one lane for construction going into downtown (as of a few minutes ago).

My neighbor confirms that yesterday 6.7.24 they opened up the fire-hydrant on the corner of 50th & Alaska St.  She had brown water as well.  I told her it was because of them clearing out the fire-hydrant.

99 north down to one lane?? Avoid if possible.

Understand they are working on tunnel tonight, but can’t understand why they need to shut down 2/3rds of the highway during rush hour. They aren’t working on anything in particular, looks like they’re just staging equipment…
