A newer blue Elantra with a broken rear window with 3-4 people in it parked behind the tall hedge in the back Bartells Headquarters parking lot off 26th Ave. this was 4pm yesterday Jan. 20th. looked sketchy as the young person in the drivers seat was wearing a ski mask and beanie and watching me while I cranked my neck to get a second look. If it looks like xxxx and smells like xxxx – it probably is xxxx

It’s back, same parking spot. Sunday 12pm. Front license plate removed and backed up so you can’t see rear license plate please leave police report # for people like me to call in and help

I stayed on hold for 20min on the police non emergency line to make a report. Officer came by 30 min later. Car drove off slowly an hour or so ago. hopefully by owner! I hope some neighbor will do the same if my car was stolen and someone noticed.

Thank you everybody for helping to locate my car. It was as described, backed into a spot at 26th and Yancy with the front plate removed.  I came and picked it up and when I opened the door it smelled like party central. The steering column was breached, and it was started with a usb plug. Body damage and busted glass will have to be addressed and my trunk, glove box and console were relieved of all of my personal items, none of which were left in the area. What I am most concerned about as far as items missing is my Sealsitter equipment consisting mostly of orange cones, sign boards and personalized wooden stakes. Hyundai and Kia are the targets these days.

Sorry, comment time is over.
