1:43 AM: Thanks for the tip. Southbound Delridge Way is blocked by SW Alaska after a driver hit three parked cars. No injuries reported. It happened about half an hour ago but it’s been a busy early morning and police are just arriving at the scene.
2:53 AM: At last report, police were awaiting a tow truck.
Are motorists lined up behind the crash constantly honking their horn at the crashed car and driver demanding they move to the side and threatening to run them over if they don’t move out the way as though they are quick moving cyclists in the same section? Of course not because they aren’t harmless cyclists causing no harm to no one but rather a likely inebriated and hence truly dangerous motorist who deserves no correction or harassment/s
Drunks (or perhaps sleepy drivers) are out there and apparently can’t stay in their own lane. Crashing into parked cars is rather common during the night. Oof
Pretty common occurance on some of these streets and expensive to the poor folks who own the parked cars.
One idiot (drunk?) driver messes with 3 lives and livelihoods since this may be the only way they get to a job or take care of an elderly mother, etc.Photo Credit: Jonathan Vogel
