VACCINE: Pathfinder K-8 clinic has kid doses available for walkups right now

4:08 PM: We’ve received two notes about this: Though today’s Pathfinder K-8 COVID-19 vaccination pop-up clinic was described on the district website as “full,” we’re told hundreds of doses for 5-to-11-year-olds are available to walkups until 6 pm. The school is on Pigeon Point qt 1901 SW Genesee.

4:15 PM: The district confirms this. But they have 5:30 pm as an end time, while the clinic was originally listed as lasting until 6 pm. (Added: A school employee tells us 6 pm is correct.)

I hope they were able to use them all. Earliest appointment I could get my child signed up was next saturday and hate to see the doses go to waste for those anxious to get our kids vaccinated.

All the doses were used! Thanks to all the children who have truly borne the brunt of this pandemic – your resilience and ability to take it all in stride is a continuous inspiration, and your community is grateful to you for showing up for your shots today. πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

Took my son today at 3:00 after hearing about it from a family member. He was vaccinated within five minutes of showing up but by the time we left the site it was getting very busy as folks found out slots were available. The staff were all super nice and happy to see folks filling up the slots.

Sorry, comment time is over.
