TRAFFIC ALERT: Tree trouble on Puget Ridge

21st SW just north of SW Myrtle, by Sanislo Elementary [map], was blocked as of a little while ago by a fallen tree, reports Angela, who says her father saw it happen while out walking their dog. She asked who to report it to. If a road is blocked, it’s an emergency, and 911 is appropriate. SDOT also has a 24-hour dispatch at 206-386-1218.

Thank goodness her father and his dog were not injured!

It was all clear by 9:30 this morning, so thank you for reporting it (I assume that was Angela) and for reporting on it WSB!

SDOT was already dispatched by the time I got WSB’s response and called them.  I tried searching for who to call (find it/fix it at 10pm to get a photo wouldn’t helpful) – which is why I emailed the blog.  A clear, concise answer! My dad is fine.  He came back a bit excitedly shaken since the tree fell within 5 feet in front of him. But he took our dog back out this morning and also saw the road was cleared.

Sorry, comment time is over.
