Our 2005 Escalade was stolen some time yesterday or overnight from the street in front of our
house on SW 45th Ave. SW, between Edmunds and Alaska. License plate 700 XYE. If anyone has seen it, please contact me at 206.819.6496.
But first, call 911.
This morning at about 7am, there was a flatbed tow truck picking up a vehicle from the west side of 45th between alaska and edmunds. I did not see the vehicle they were picking up; just the towtruck angled in.
We live over on 50th & Alaska and the other night I think it was Tuesday at about 5:30 a white Tow Truck kept coming up our block and stopping in front of our house and looking up, he made about 5 passes in front of our house stopping each time and looking at both of our trucks. It was a white tow truck. I wished I would have written its name down. Then he would go up to 51st Pl which is our Alley but is now a street then come back down and go up our block again. We thought he was probably looking for 51st SW which you can only access from Edmonds or go all the way to Genessee to access. He finally turned and headed up Alaska street and we did not see him again.
I may have seen it being driven irregularly at 49th and Alaska at 5:45 am. There was a white car with it and they seemed to be racing maybe? They blew through the stop sign and the white small white car they were with passed it right by ercolini park.
Thank you for the tip and for keeping an eye out. Unfortunately that wasn’t my vehicle being towed; mine was on the east side of the street and SPD has no record it has been impounded.
Just one more thing-while the Escalade looks black (and the headline over the photo says it is), actually it’s dark blue with just a hint of green.
This photo was on the South Delridge Next Door page that someone posted about a strange car in the neighborhood.
Unfortunately, that appears to be a newer Suburban (Chevrolet), rather than a 2005 Escalade (Cadillac). I hope Guy’s Escalade is found, though. Such a hassle to go through – it’s terrible.
