WEST SEATTLE CRIME WATCH: Backyard intruder

That’s security video from the backyard of Matt‘s home near Fauntleroy/Thistle, across from Lincoln Park. He hasn’t been able to check yet for any other damage but is sharing this so others will be on the lookout. The intruder’s been reported to police; we don’t have the report number yet but will add when we do, in case you have a tip to report.

I may have seen this man being arrested in front of Zeek’s/Whiskey West this morning around 9am? Big police response (and one fire engine, I believe?)

This was my first thought as well. There were at least 4 police SUV’s with more than a handful of officers talking with a guy dressed very similarly (black shirt, black pants, but without shoes or socks on) outside Zeek’s at Morgan Junction yesterday at about 9:30 AM.I didn’t get a close enough look at his face, but that outfit looks very familiar.

We saw the police speaking to this person on the sidewalk of the south Lincoln Park parking lot around 10 this morning.  Possibly related?

I’m pretty sure the police were looking for this guy this morning near The original bakery.

I’m in favor of a private database of footage like this built with private security cameras and facial-recognition software.

This man left his clothes in my little free library. I gave them to the police. He doesn’t wear those black pants anymore unless he has another pair!

I think someone got into the funny little cigarettes or the big boys’ liquor stash.  Wow.
