7:03 AM: Good morning! No incidents currently reported in/from West Seattle.

LOOKING AHEAD: Thursday night, California closes to vehicle traffic between Edmunds and Genesee, and SW Alaska closes between 44th and 42nd, as West Seattle Summer Fest setup begins … Friday night, the next major northbound I-5 closure begins, but you can still get to/from West Seattle, as explained here.

To everyone traveling north on Delridge to get onto the West
Seattle bridge:

What’s the point tailgating when we can’t go faster than the
car in front of us?

The right turn only lane/bus lane/bus stop is for a right
turn only onto Andover. It’s not to be “in front” of everyone in the next lane
over who need move over when the bus lane ends. All you are doing is making it
harder and more dangerous for everyone else. If you are in that much of a hurry,
leave 10 minutes earlier.

A special shout out to the gray and blues sedans this
morning that were playing “you can’t pass me” into the left hand turn lane and
into oncoming traffic. That was truly terrifying.

To the seemingly millions of people coming out of West
Seattle:

The eastbound onramp to the West Seattle bridge from lower
Spokane street has a yield sign. That doesn’t mean go faster and it doesn’t
mean merge.

If you are coming from the west end of the bridge, how about
slowing down from whatever high rate of speed you’re going to at least 50 mph, giving the people entering onto the bridge
from Delridge a chance to merge?

Something is going on st about 47th and Charleston. Lots of police cars, flashing lights, Charleston blocked.

There was an SFD one-unit response at 10:19 am for a crash at 45th/Charlestown. Already closed. (But thanks!)

@WSB, sort of late to ask…no it is way late but do you know what was going on at the Transfer Station (Dump) this morning around 520/530am there were numerous fire trucks (5 or more) there with lights flashing…?Thanks!
