SURVEY: Sound Transit wonders if it’s doing a good job reaching you

If you missed the survey link in our most-recent report on the Sound Transit West Seattle (and Ballard) light-rail planning process – it’s not too late; ST has extended the deadline and the survey’s now open through 5 pm Tuesday – you’ll find it here. It’s about whether ST is doing a good job reaching you with information about the planning process, and how you prefer to get that info.

Sound Transit is doing a wonderful job of reaching us – we understand that all of the alternatives being taken forward to “Level 2” have no cost evaluation and no understanding of how many people’s homes will be destroyed for the rail line that they think will be finished more than a decade from now.  Thanks so much for the communication ST!

The cost estimation will be part of this phase. But certainly provide them with that feedback.

SoundTransit is a name that makes me shudder more than my ex wife’s. And they’re both gonna cost me a ton!

Why won’t Sound Transit disclose the estimated tax cost of the ST3 financing plan, the one that requires it confiscate all the taxes at the maximum rates through 2055?  Is it $190 billion?

Well, that was the lamest survey I’ve ever taken.  What did they want to know other my ZIP code, annual income and age?

Pretty sure I’ve already answered all these questions several times over the months/years ST has been posting questionnaires. What have they done with all the others? I did it again for the exercise and am expecting nothing different to happen because I did. This whole process leaves me sad and rather hopeless for my poor little neighborhood. Bad stuff is coming our way.

Sorry, comment time is over.
