About the police response in The Junction

We’ve received several questions about a police response at California/Alaska in The Junction. Went over to check; police were dealing with a person in crisis, who will be taken – via the private ambulance in our photo – to Harborview Medical Center for evaluation.

Always a sad situation when it’s a person in crisis…

More people in crisis than not these days and that was before the election.

I wonder if it was the same man who made threatening gestures to my wife and I.

He was swinging his fists at us and kept saying. “What don’t you get!”.

    He was not well/stable.

There was an older woman who used to chase off people a few years ago screaming, “Get outta my house!”

I saw this man attack the Seattle Fire ladder truck while responding to an emergency.

He ran into the street and jumped aboard screaming at them

A private ambulance company has to be one of the most expensive ways to deal with this situation.
