FREE CAR WASH: 10:30 am-4:30 pm at Terry Gangon‘s State Farm Insurance office in The Junction – they will wash your car for free AND donate $5 to the West Seattle Food Bank. Be sure to read the “fine print” (full listing) before you go. (4727 44th SW)

LEMONADE STAND FUNDRAISER: From Robin, whose son is organizing this: “From 4:15-6:15 on Friday the 7th … a lemonade stand to benefit the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund in hopes of adopting an Infant Gorilla. Come get a cookie, some lemonade, a watermelon agua frescos and rainbow loom bracelets – everything is $1. Ask him about gorillas. He’s done his homework. Swing by!” (6350 37th SW, off Morgan)

DUWAMISH REVEALED – ARTISTS’ RECEPTION AND PERFORMANCE: The multi-site, summer-long art event on and near the Duwamish River continues with two events tonight at Jack Block Park in West Seattle – an informal reception for three of the artists with installations at the park, starting at 6 pm, and “Reverberando,” a bilingual performance including music, dance, and singing, at 7 pm.
