The only upcoming traffic advisory in the area is the one reported here last night – lane closures on the Spokane Street Viaduct section of the West Seattle Bridge this Sunday morning.

7:56 AM UPDATE: Bus-line backup on Avalon Way, tweets Maggie, but it’s not because of buses:

9:49 AM: SDOT tweets that the Battery St. Tunnel is closed northbound, verifying a tip we just got. Don’t yet know why.

1:21 PM: 106th is closed in Arbor Heights/Shorewood between 31st and 32nd because of a crash.

Re: Cars in the bus lane

I suspected that’s why my bus was sitting so long waiting to turn.

Get cops down there to ticket cars when they do that!!!!!!!

Lots of enforcement opportunities at the I 5 north ramp across the illegal to cross double white line. I see violations every day and have asked spd for enforcement over several years. I heard cops were there one day. I’ve never seen them there but I always get a nice email from a sergeant after I file a request. A nice email is not what I’m looking for. It would also be nice if the police replied to my follow up emails. I’ve always been courteous and respectful and it has gotten me nowhere. This is a dangerous area and the city thinks 2 lines of paint and a sign is all that is needed.

I always try and give metro buses the right of way and cannot recall ever taking up their lane. Give them priority too along with police and fire vehicles!

Sorry, comment time is over.
