The salon itself has been the host of countless benefits – less than two weeks before the burglary, in fact, Ola had hosted a benefit sale during West Seattle Community Garage Sale Day, raising money for Transitional Resources, whose organization helping people with mental-health challenges is located just up Avalon Way.
