West Seattle traffic alert: On-ramp water woes

Forecasters say the rain will ease up later, but there’s apparently standing-water trouble out there – via the WSB Facebook page, Sharon reports, “The on-ramp from Delridge to the West Seattle Bridge is flooded once again!” Any other problem spots you see, let us know so we can share the heads-up (but of course, please don’t call/e-mail till you’ve arrived!).

Not only is the on-ramp flooded but all the street lights are out alongside the on-ramp and along that stretch of the Fauntleroy lead-in to the West Seattle Bridge. Please, SDOT or Seattle Light or whomever, when it’s dark and rainy and the lane markers have mostly faded into invisibility anyway, give us working street lights!

Looks like the seismic retrofit closure will be interesting tonight…. Access to WS via Federal Way….

FEDERAL Way? As in, a typo? Which sign?

Sorry, comment time is over.
