I hate to say it but you also reported our house fire as a small fire and we lost everything! We are a family with 3 kids and s business and have suffered greatly! I hope you check with the families afterward in the future to make sure the small fire disnt ruin their lives and make them feel secluded from this great community here….

Hollie – I am sorry to hear what happened; my home burned when I was a kid and even now, it’s an experience that can’t be forgotten. That said, we don’t go knock on people’s doors after fires, crimes, etc., and there is no way to find a less-invasive means of contact. All we can do is quote the fire department and describe what we saw. In this case, they were gone within 20 minutes, so I certainly hope it was a small fire, as described both on the scanner and by the fire crews who were at the scene, briefly, while Christopher was there. I don’t know which fire involved your family, so I have no idea of the circumstances or how it would compare, but if the fire department inaccurately described what happened at your home, I hope you have contacted them as well, to point it out. – TR
