Happening now: Don’t toss it, recycle it in Fauntleroy

That classic TV console was one of the items dropped off in the early going for today’s Recycle Roundup at Fauntleroy Church. We asked people on WSB’s Facebook page for caption ideas; among the suggestions so far, Stephanie suggested, “1970 called and wants its TV back.” Here again is the list of what they’ll take (for free, unlike some other e-and-other-things recyclers that request a fee).

9140 California SW, dropoffs till 3 pm.

I dropped a car load on them this morning. They do the unloading :)

Be sure and bring a “donation” to thank them for doing this. With the rates at some recycle depots and the cost of hauling non computer electric debris to the transfer station, look carefully at the list of what they take and re-evaluate some of that stuff in the attic and basement.

    Thanks Fauntleroy church !

So excited to finally have my husband agree to get rid of that first MAC from the 80’s, plus 1 other computer, vhs recorder, old dvr, 2 printers and other stuff. He didn’t have time to think of the reasons that she should keep them….

Thank you Fauntleroy Church!! I took advantage last year and this year. If you can, make sure to put some $ in the donation basket to help with the costs.. every $ counts.. This is a great service for our community.

The link says they take furniture so I loaded up the suv this morning to take it down, only to find out that they’re not taking any furniture.

Took it to the Burien Goodwill instead.

Unloaded 2 old monitors and an unused printer. Thanks to WSB for getting the word out about this event!

Sorry, comment time is over.
