This Friday is your last chance to nominate someone for the Jeff Fairhall Local Food Hero Award, which will be presented again this year at the annual Eat Local Now! dinner celebration. Once again this fall, the dinner is happening at SODO Park, the acclaimed venue operated by West Seattle-founded Herban Feast (also parent to Fresh Bistro in The Junction). It’s set for October 24 – details here – with tickets now on sale (buy them online here), and while the event’s not in West Seattle, Sustainable West Seattle is a major sponsor/organizer, along with other area groups.
