Thanks very much for helping to publicize our (Prudential’s) food drive. We actually have 5 stores hosting us. In addition to those you mentioned are White Center Albertson’s and Jefferson Square Safeway. If someone wants to donate but can’t make it to one of the stores, e-mail me and I will pick up your donation in person. We are also collecting disposable diapers for the benefit of WestSide Baby.

Alice – if you follow the link in the item, which is the only weblink I have on this, courtesy of somebody who e-mailed us about it, it just mentions those three WS stores that I mentioned, plus the Albertson’s, which is not in West Seattle, but I will be mentioning it on our WC site. It appeared to be an official PNW page – maybe if you know who manages that page, they could add the Safeway – TR

Thank you to the West Seattle Blog for publicizing all these great events to help our community members in need. And a huge Thank You to SoundYoga, Prudential, CROP Hunger Walk and all those supporting these events. The West Seattle Food Bank continues to see an increase in need and it is wonderful to live in a community that works so hard to help meet those needs.

The CROP walk starts with a mini-concert by the renowned Total Experience Gospel Choir. Well worth dropping by to see them, even if you aren’t able to stay and do the walk.

Sorry, comment time is over.
