West Seattle Crime Watch: Highland Park ‘home invasion’ suspect

One more case you might be able to help solve: Seattle Police are out with photos of one suspect from yesterday morning’s home-invasion robbery in the 7900 block of 4th SW in Highland Park. They say he was photographed while using one of the victim’s cards at a “nearby” ATM:

He is described as an Asian male, 5′ 8″, 165 pounds, average build, wearing eyeglasses and dressed in a hooded sweatshirt. He also has a thin mustache. An ATM camera captured his image while he was attempting to use the victim’s ATM card at a nearby location. The photo images also capture him driving the victim’s stolen white 1995 Ford van, Washington license plate 65327 DP (Disabled plate). The van is wheelchair equipped and has no hubcaps.

Thanks go to SPD for making them available – we have told them time and again that we stand ready to share photos when they choose to distribute them. We usually do not publish photos of people who have not been charged BUT in this case – it meets two criteria of ours: 1. Police have asked that the photo be distributed to catch a suspect; 2. the suspect was (according to police) caught red-handed (using a stolen card) – TR

This guy is an idiot–very smooth using the ATM, ATMs which always have a video camera. Might as well turn yourself in now dude, and perhaps the prosecutor and judge will recognize your willingness to give yourself up and consider that when you are charged and/or sentenced.

So, WTF, you vilify him for being a criminal (which is %100 understandable), but you also promote/celebrate other criminals lifestyle in the jail system that uses violence to solve problems with other inmates. Basically your rooting for some criminals, while hoping punishment for other criminals.
