From the WSB Pets page: Searching for a deaf Dalmatian

In the past day, we’ve added a few more lost pets to the WSB Pets page (there as a West Seattle-specific resource if you’ve ever lost or found a pet) – and right now there’s a frantic search under way for a deaf Dalmatian, missing in Westwood – photo and contact number here. TUESDAY UPDATE, 2:38 PM: Rupert’s just been found.

Just got back home from walking my dogs. While out I saw the owner driving, and she pulled over to ask us to keep an eye out for Rupert. I sure hope he’s safely inside someone’s home and they are looking for the owner now.

To Ruperts owners – please let us know if you need help – I am off this week and I am sure several other are and would be happy to help you hang flyers, call shelters, etc.. – just put the call out!

update: Rupert is still missing. Please keep your eyes peeled. He was spotted yesterday around 1 on Trenton, but we didn’t find out until hours later that he had even gone missing from the vet. So, he IS out there.

The best chance we have is to get the word out. text everyone in your phone book that lives in the white center/west seattle area to watch for him. he’s out there – and there are enough people here that someone will see him.

Thanks to everyone who called to report sightings, we were able to determine where he felt safe and was “hiding”. Rupert, I am VERY happy to report is now safely home getting warmed up and getting a well deserved warm meal. THANK YOU EVERYONE for helping THIS one have a happy ending. Keep your puppy eyes open for our lost souls. Happy Holidays!!!!!
