Emerge from the still, hollow ground of winter invigorated by stoking your internal fire in this deeply cleansing workshop. We’ll heat and soften the body with a flowing practice and wring our stagnant energy with a series of held asana, preparing ourselves for the more advanced practices of shatkarma and pranayama. Ancient purification practices inspired by the Hatha Yoga Pradipika such as agni sara, nauli, kapalabhati and trataka will be explored individually during class, while specific detoxifying asana and dietary recommendations will be discussed collectively at the end of our practice. One year of prior practice recommended.
