West Seattle Christmas trees update: 1 lot’s on sale

We’re going to have to go out and check on the tree situation West Seattle-wide as time permits this afternoon – we figured some things might have changed since we did the research 2 weeks ago for our West Seattle Christmas Tree Price Check (read it here) — and in fact, we just got e-mail from this year’s new addition, the tree lot on Harbor Ave across from the 7-11. Jeff Sullivan wrote (as of half an hour ago):

We just wanted to let you know that we have around 40 or 50 trees left in a variety of shapes & sizes. We still have Noble, grand and douglas firs. All trees are just $20/each!

Merry Christmas to you!

Sincerely,
Jeff Sullivan

    Only 32 trees left!

Now there’s even less than that. We just picked up a nice fragrant 6-foot sheared noble for $21.78

And I guess if you have a large RV, boat or limo and you don’t have space in front of your house there’s a lot there you can rent space in.

The Budget Rental folks should check it out – right now they’re parking all the trucks with their wheels on the curb on Harbor Ave. I wonder if the police are overlooking this and won’t give a ticket.

Your list of tree lots was so helpful! May I suggest you add McLendon’s? I’ve gone there for several years now and I find their prices to be very reasonable, the selection very good and the service is excellent!

Wow. Jeff was awesome. We got a beautiful tree at a great price, and free delivery. I’ll second MargL’s sentiment. Seems like these guys are down-to-earth and super service oriented.

Alice – good point – McLendon’s is technically not in WS but White Center sorta counts. MargL – thanks for the reminder – we were meaning to get over there on a Sunday night to photograph the trucks. If they’re still there when I leave to make a late-night grocery store run in an hour I’ll get a pic ’cause we’ve been meaning to make a followup call to the city on that.

I want to thank you for the listing. I got on the
site half hour after Jeff said he had trees for
$20!! Called my sister and hustled down there.
Picked up their last noble (one of the best we’ve had) We usually cut our own, was a little strange
to get a tree and have it in the livingroom in
an hour! Thanks again for all you do for us
    West Seattleites. Debbie

Let us know what you’ve found out about those
budget trucks. What an eye sore on such a
    beautiful drive. Debbie

Sorry, comment time is over.
