Caffeinated Charger

Yeah, we know not everybody loves ’em (comments). But the new SPD cars sure photograph well. Christopher Boffoli caught this one outside Diva:

I’m a little surprised that y’all are apparently not aware that the head of the squad, Sgt. Steve Ameden, lives in West Seattle. He is my neighbor in Fauntleroy, and parks a plain blue Charger at his house. (I’ve not looked to see if it has the lights in the back window or not.) I think he’s been involved with the Fauntleroy Community Association in helping to curb the motorcycle traffic coming off the ferry, too.

Did our tax money go to pay for that car?

Interesting you should mention motorcycle traffic – the last few times I’ve driven over the West Seattle bridge I’ve found myself in the middle of a pack of bikers, zooming in/out of lanes and around the traffic in a very unsafe way. One group were all wearing shirts with a big letter “B” and “Seattle” on the back.

I’ve had to deal with these motorcycle packs since 2000.

Sorry, comment time is over.
