I’m a little surprised that y’all are apparently not aware that the head of the squad, Sgt. Steve Ameden, lives in West Seattle. He is my neighbor in Fauntleroy, and parks a plain blue Charger at his house. (I’ve not looked to see if it has the lights in the back window or not.) I think he’s been involved with the Fauntleroy Community Association in helping to curb the motorcycle traffic coming off the ferry, too.

Interesting you should mention motorcycle traffic – the last few times I’ve driven over the West Seattle bridge I’ve found myself in the middle of a pack of bikers, zooming in/out of lanes and around the traffic in a very unsafe way. One group were all wearing shirts with a big letter “B” and “Seattle” on the back.
