The “cheapest” is less cheap

Charlestown/Cali 7-11 jumped to $3.29/regular, matching nearby Exxon. Anybody seen cheaper?

Safeway on Roxbury is $3.35, but got the 10 cent discount b/c I shop there (must spend $50) and got the discounted rate of $2.25.

Just filled up there, so take advantage of it quickly.

I take Metro everyday. When I do drive I take my motorcycle (60mpg) or my truck. The truck just sits in the driveway all week waiting to go to Home Depot on the weekends so I only fill it up 2 times a month at most. The whole gas conspiracy sucks. We’re so obviously being worked over by them. Record profits, but the price goes up every day? Brutal. Save me Metro, save me!

Amazing! 2nd highest in the nation. Even higher than the most remote populated island. Go figger.

In the past, I have spent 50 + dollars at Safeway then gone to get gas a few days later and no discount so I quit buying their gas and I try not to shop there. When I complained to the club card center they said to take it up with the station even though it had been a week since I first complained. The station said to call the 1 800 number for the club. Got the run around. I’ll pay the extra $1 per tank elsewhere to not have to deal with their BS. I’d rather go to Barnecuts and support a family owned business in this era of businesses getting squeezed out by corporations like Safeway, Wal mart, etc.. I boycotted Safeway for the longest time when they started their club card now everyone has got a club card. Thanks Safeway!

Sorry, comment time is over.
