Particularly plaintive pet plea

We don’t really have an official policy on lost pet notices – but found this particularly plaintive one on Craigslist shortly after seeing a new flyer for the same missing dog on a neighborhood pole. Keep an eye out.

It’s always sad to lose a pet. This reminds that I should get mine tagged with the implant.

BTW, the most rewarding post we do at BDB is reuniting pets and owners. We’re 3 for 4 right now.

I will spare you my actual initial thoughts on that person, but I will donate $50 and directions to highway 99 to solve that persons problems.

Missing since Saturday April 7th – Cheyenne is still missing, and just as of this last week there have been no more sightings – She is a golden brown color with lighter chest and under tail, with a black and a little grey muzzle area and eyebrows, black lined eyes. No Collar or ID, the groomer had taken collar off – she is not chipped unfortunately. she was at the groomers in Tukwila when she was put on a table next to an open window and unfortunately was left un-chained to anything and managed to jump out the window and has been missing ever since. PLEASE KNOW that we have done everything humanly possible to search for her – everyday and night, checking all the shelters, vets, neighborhoods, parks, i have hired 2 different tracking dogs to try and find her, i have spent almost $4000 on our search in just the last month – placing large classified ads in all the papers – Making 1000’s of poster and flyers, and spending every waking minute of everyday since she went missing trying to find her – driving thousands of miles – walking daily through neighborhoods and parks, etc…. etc…. I update all information and leads here on Craigslist daily.
I have contacted newstations, radio stations, etc…
For the frist 3 weeks we got many possible sightings and each one seemed to get closer to home – she basically headed WEST from about 148th and Military then North a few blocks and then West again – most of the sightings and the scent tracking dogs took her basically West and a little North – right towards home! – We have had her since she was 8 weeks old and she has always lived here in this house, in North Burien. We had just lost our 10 yr old Rotti “duke” to cancer a little over a week prior to this and have been completely devastated!!!
If you have any info at all – Please call Chantelle at 206-851-5294
I really think some kind person has taken her in and may not know hse is missing or thinks she was a stray because of the no collar and being out there for so many weeks on her own. I hope this is the case and want to Thank that person – and REWARD THEM SUBSTANTIALLY!
Cheyenne is and always has been a shy and skittish girl around people she doesnt know – she was not like that with us – but with everyone else she was, until she got to know them. She is the sweetest dog ever! We just miss her so much! And desperatly want her to come home – we have 1 other dog “Star” who is her best friend – she has been reaaly depressed since losing BOTH her best friends in such a short time. PLEASE BRING HER HOME!

I’ve seen so many Lost pet signs living in West Seattle and I wonder how can that be. Well, today I am one of those folks.
I allowed my beautiful, all black kitty Charlotte out last night. I knew better as we live along a green belt on Marine View Drive and are very aware of fox, coyote, you name it.

I f’d up big time. There are no words to describe the pain I feel for her and my not being a responsible owner. I knew better and against my better judgement, thought, with our dog she’d be fine. Such pure ignorance and of all the years I’ve been a gaurdian to my animals, all who have died of old age, I just blew it and it only took once.

I am going to leave my cell should anyone in Arbor heights area between 98th and 104th see my slightly bull-legged black with green eyes kitty. She is NOT social and rarely leaves my yard or my two neighbors to the North. She will come if she here’s me calling her.

For anyone who reads this, listen to that inner voice, no matter how much your rational brain says, it will be ok this one time.

Peace to those who know the pain I feel… I can think of little that is worse.

I’m really dense, I guess, but I don’t understand what you mean by what you posted, House.
    Explain?

Posted: flyers and posters – with picture and lost pet information with phone # etc…

As of May 21st – Cheyenne is still missing – we are still searching daily – please tell anyone you know or meet about her, also if you can help by posting the ad from Craigslist with her picture at you local petstore, vetrerinarian, business bulletin board etc…. we would be so very grateful!

We are so worried about Cheyenne – who has been with us since she was 8 weeks old – our home is not the same without her!

She may have been found and moved out of the area, and possibly it is not known that she is missing – as she had no collar on when she went missing – nor is she micro-chipped.
She is dearly loved and was extremely well taken care of. Unfortunately we were not prepared for the totally unexpected – her jumping out the groomers window. When we get her back she will be chipped and never taken to a groomers again.

    Thank You!!!

You can find her picture and more information on Craigslist.org seattle – keyword: Cheyenne under Lost and Found or Pets

$500 REWARD FOR INFO LEADING TO HER SAFE RETURN
