Not just us

Seems the afternoon “flurries” hit elsewhere too. Some of the bare spots that were finally starting to emerge on our closest non-arterials are now frosted again. That’s supposedly over but now the latest warning … AIR STAGNATION ADVISORY! Which gives us an excuse to show one more photo from the incredibly CLEAR conditions back on Thursday — this one is NOT ours, but reader Bob Bollen gave us permission to post it (thanks!):

Winters going to last for at least another two and a half months. I’m past the breaking point here. I don’t mind and can handle anything above 37 but this is ridiculous. At this point, I don’t care what my electric bill will say. Its dryer than summertime right now and I feel dehydrated and sluggish.

Past the breaking point? What is this, Antarctica? I haven’t touched my thermostat all winter in my cheapo apartment and the only thing new I’ve done since the drop in temperature has been to cast a most comfortable fleece throw over my body while watching reruns of Seinfeld and endulge even more in my coffee vice. Breaking point? Man, to me it’s smile inducing.

I’m with you, Apollo. I follow the Jimmy Carter School of Economics: “Wear a Sweater,” although it’s a little hard to do when you have a baby who doesn’t understand the concept.

Whateva’s I am now officially sick. I have a meen chest cold with a major cough and a light flu to go with it. My headaches are consisitant and I feel dehydrated all the time because I have to keep the radiant heat on which makes the apartment dryer. I wouldn’t mind the weather if I had a better heating source than a electric base board this sucks.

Sorry, comment time is over.
