(Pets page sponsorship is available – want to help reunite lost/found West Seattle pets and their people?)
Lost or found a pet? E-MAIL INFO/PHOTO TO: email@example.com – plain text with contact #, one JPG photo, no Word/PDF/etc. docs. PLEASE let us know when the situation is resolved, so we can remove the listing. Thanks!
RULES: Please only report “found” pets that are in your custody – if you see a “possible lost pet running around,” check to see if it is reported as lost. If it is, PLEASE contact the owner directly with your sighting – they might not see a comment soon enough. If the pet you found needs medical attention, please get that attention before asking us to post – the pet’s health/welfare matters most. Please do NOT submit a comment with an opinion of the pet, its owner, its circumstances, its breed OR a comment promoting someone who charges $ to search for pets – those will NOT be approved for publication.

F O U N D: We found this lovely dove on the street in the 4200 block of Beach Dr. SW. Don’t know if she’s a pet, if her wings have been clipped it, or how she got to where she was. She doesn’t have an identification band on her foot. She is now at the Humane Society. Her case number is 36529578. Please call Ken at 206-386-4294.
(Found, per comment – info removed)

(Marjorie says Jackson is back home! She adds, “The trick to bringing him home was scattering his litter outside so he could find his scent. I also borrowed a trap but didn’t need to use it. Please pass these tips on to others who have missing cats.”)

This cat was brought to West Seattle Animal Hospital: Collar yes, microchip no. The person who found it asked the clinic to board it for the day and then will reclaim it. The clinic says, “We have tried to call the number that is on the pet’s tag but the voicemail box is full.” Is it your cat? 206.932.3308.
(Ranger the dog has been reunited with his people)
Mowgli has been missing since yesterday, 9/6 around 6pm. Large, all black male cat, neutered, about 12 lbs. Green eyes, wide nose. Very shy and timid and likes to hide. I live at 38th and Dawson, so most likely in the Fairmount Park area or nearby. Please call Tanya at 206.755.2655 if you see him. Thank you!
(The cockatiel that had been seen at multiple spots around West Seattle has died.)
