This good looking guy has been hanging around our house around 5900 Beach Drive for about 2 weeks now. We’ve been feeding him dry food, and he’s finally overcome his shyness to let us pet him and get a good close look at him. He’s a mature neutered male, seems to be in good physical shape, and familiar with people. He’ll now roll over and let himself be scratched all over, showing his belly. He’s very slightly cross-eyed. No tags. Maybe about 10 pounds or so. No signs of illness, or injury. He doesn’t seem emaciated. Relatively quiet, not your typical Siamese. A real sweetheart, but we already have two cats. Accordingly, we’re maintaining him outside, which he doesn’t seem to mind. Yet.
Will befriend him a while longer, but intent is to get him trusting enough so we can eventually transfer him to no-kill shelter for chip search and eventual adoption.
Yours ? If so, please call 206-938-1610.
Have you went door to door to find his owners yet?
Becasue we have a cat that was doing the same thing as this one, “hanging around acting to be homeless” and to find out a year later she lived just 2 doors down!
Yes, I know the neighbors for several houses down on both sides of the street. None have cats. I will be canvassing the neighborhood next, though. Thanks !
He is gorgeous! My parents have a Seal Point as well – tend to be a bit skittish.
Sounds like you’re winning his trust though – hope you can corral him to get checked for a chip.
No doubt someone is missing this beautiful little guy.
