Jet Fuel Smell

Given the weather being warmer I have been sleeping with a bedroom window slighly open and between the hours of 12-4am I have woken to the smell of jet fuel or something similar at least a few times a night during the last week. It only lasts about a minute, but I’m desperate to figure it out! Sometimes I close the window if it’s strong enough.

I’m new to the area since March (Genesee neighborhod) and my first thought was Boeing field, but this seems to improbably for the distance. Perhaps exhaust coming from a neighbors furnace, but natgas or oil don’t have that distinct jet fuel smell after combustion.

Anyone else experienced this phenomenon?? 🙄
