Looking for good burgers around WS, particularly take-out. Fries optional. Alaska Junction optimal. Thanks!

Elliott Bay Brewery has awesome burgers, and you can call in orders for takeout. My favorite is the Crumbled Bleu & Bacon burger. Delicious!

Not the junction, but Luna Park makes a good burger too - I\'m partial to their Gut Bomb Burger - as healthy as it sounds :)

Circa in the Admiral District has good burgers...call ahead for take-out...

Jacks happy hour, best burgers for 5 bucks. I dont know if you can take them out, but sit down at the bar and have a wonderful burger!

Jaks makes one of the best burgers I have ever tasted. Yummmm I think I might go get a burger tonight. :-)

Oh, yes - how could I forget about Jaks? They do have a great burger.

Believe it or not, the Triangle Pub in White Center has some pretty crazy good burgers. The place may look a little rough around the edges, but the bar tender was extremely nice and cooked all our burgers to order and then packed them in to-go boxes along with a mountain of fries. Cost couldn\'t have been more than $6. Not gourmet, but a lot of bang for your buck. \'\'Citysearch Page for Triangle Pub\'\'.
Location: \'\'9454 Delridge Way SW\'\'
P.S. Sorry if the links are borked...first post to the forums.

+1 for Elliot Bay. + 1/2 for Luna Park I used to really enjoy burgers at LP, but they seem to be going downhill.

Try Charlestown Street Cafe....tasty, made just how you want them

I am glad someone brought up this issue. I moved to WS 3 months ago and I am seriously missing the great burgers from Red Mill, Burgermaster, Dicks, and Kidd Valley. Not one of them resides in West Seattle, yet there are multiples of each in North Seattle. We need to take action and demand a good take out burger joint in West Seattle!!!!!!

i agree with the elliot bay comments! a great burger every time. i am a huge fan of the hawaii five 0! yum! also, super good fries. be sure to get a side of tartar sauce for the fries.

Circa is the best I have found in West Seattle.

IMO, the West Seattle take-out burger hierarchy goes like this:
1) Circa
2) Jak\'sThat\'s it. The Elliot Bay burger is totally hit and miss. Too risky if you\'re doing take-out.

Excellent thread. I too am new to west seattle and always on the lookout for a good hamburger.
I dig elliot bay\'s bbq burger but will be sampling the other places soon, and no doubt with frequency.

The Circa burger is the best in WS, I do agree with Beth though...we totally need a Red Mill

Try Elliot Bay\'s BBQ burger but have them substitute the crispy shoestring onions (from the pork sandwich) instead of raw ones. OH MY YUM. We go there at least once a week, sometimes twice. And my weight gain this year reflects it. ;-)

Recently got to visit a Kidd Valley for the first time in years - son had never been. Grrreat! We did the whole shabang...burgers, deep fried mushrooms, onion rings, banana milkshake (with chunks of fresh banana clogging the straw, mmmm). Please, please come to WS!!

oh, yum...their deep fried mushrooms...the best. Now I\'ll have to leave WS so I can have some - lol.....

Don\'t forget Pepperdock\'s on Alki. A mean Bacon Cheeseburger with fries and tasty onion rings. Yummy.
