WSB – you do not cease to astound me. Heard the helicopter. Clicked on your page and answer was already there. (Hope the man is okay)

The other day when I was trying to figure out who might be open for a grocery store errand, and couldn’t reach any of them by phone, I wondered if blog would have an answer. I log on and that is the first post on that day. !!!! You are such a valuable asset to our community.

A – thanks, we try to be helpful. The helicopter was unrelated but I heard it too (we are less than a mile south). Just happened to be passing over. No suspect in a situation like this, so no need for a search. – TR

Thanks for clarifying. I don’t know why I assumed airlifted to Harborview. Overly tired and overactive thinking. That was silly.
PS you are far more than helpful. Essential is my word.

Thank you for continuing to cover these tragic situations with compassion and honesty WSB. My heart goes out to the man and his family.

Thanks again to WSB for sensitive coverage of these all too often tragedies.
This is another of the preventable costs of our right to carry arms that the NRA wishes to avoid.
Sure, there are many ways for people to hurt themselves and others, but none as effective as the firearm. How did we get to the place where here in the USA we can uniquely accept such senseless carnage?
My condolences go out to this man and those who care for him.

I too sometimes struggle to understand suicide and separate that from the tools employed for such a goal John.

Sorry, comment time is over.
