Bakery Nouveau plans to expand to Capitol Hill, reports CHS
November 27, 2012 at 7:24 am | In West Seattle news, West Seattle restaurants | 9 Comments
A famous bakery is going against the grain: While the trend has more typically been for successful businesses from other Seattle neighborhoods to expand west, West Seattle-founded Bakery Nouveau is expanding to the northeast, six years after its low-key arrival here. Our friends at fellow independent neighborhood-news service Capitol Hill Seattle have broken the news this morning that BN “has launched plans for a new shop on Capitol Hill.” No, it’s not moving there – it’ll be a second location, according to the CHS story, for which editor Justin Carder interviewed BN proprietor William Leaman. Read all about it here. (2011 WSB photo)

How about just a bigger location here and not such high prices?!

The more logical idea would be for them to expand in front of my house, lol.

Good for you Nouveau! It’s nice to see such a hard working business grow in these times.
I would also like to see them expand into Alki…

Well they have certainly helped me expand over the last few years, good luck, I am sure they will be a huge hit.

Bakery Nouveau is amazing. The rest of Seattle will soon know why it is the finest bakery around. Well deserved.

I didn’t know that one could franchise the sale of crack cocaine …
I have yet to go into BN for baguette and come out with only a baguette. Really, they should be ashamed of what they do to poor addicts like me. Its cruel.
Just please god, never stop making the pizza. OMG.

But we like being special! Sigh. Oh, well. At least I don’t have to be the designated cake deliverer for parties on the hill. The boys love the cake!
