West Seattle garage fire ‘tapped’ on 31st SW

If you’re in or near Arbor Heights and wondered about the sirens – Seattle Fire sent a big response to what was reported as a garage fire on 31st near 97th (map), but canceled most of the units within minutes, declaring the fire “tapped.”

  1. They were actively blocking off the street from roxbury at about 8:30am.

    There was also a single vehicle slammed into a pole on WB Roxbury just at the top of Myers.

  2. The crash you mention isn’t on the 911 log at all, which is unusual. There was railing work scheduled to happen in that area (as noted on our partner site White Center Now) today, though, FWIW. – TR
