More fun than “NORAD Tracks Santa” …
October 30, 2007 at 7:07 pm | In Holidays, West Seattle people | 11 CommentsNOTE ADDED 12/22/07 FOR ANYONE WHO FINDS THIS WHILE GOOGLING FOR “NORAD TRACKS SANTA” SINCE IT’S FOR SOME REASON THE #1 RESULT – YOU’LL FIND THAT SITE HERE.
… it’s “WSB Tracks the Art Attack(er)”! Well, “tracking” isn’t quite the right word, but we have received another communique from the mysterious artist leaving glass pumpkins in deserving West Seattle yards. “AA” reports having visited Alki already tonight and is at last report headed elsewhere. (Should we be leaving cookies and milk on the doorstep?)

I’m watching KING 5 news, and the glass pumkins and the West Seattle Blog just got a short story on KING. In fact, I think they lifted your pictures :-). Anyway, cool that you got coverage for this artistic adventure, and surely you must have figured out who the artist is.

I saw it too!! …and in the time it took me to back track and add my email address to be able to post – Cindi beat me to the announcement! :-)

I just saw this on the news, too. Kudos for the WSB….best blog in the city :)

Just so you all don’t think they are thieves, the folks at the tv station did write to ask if it was OK to use the pix and credit WSB with the story. All credit to “West Seattle Art Attack” (who sent us those pix in the first place) — what a splendid thing to do.

I just saw it this morning on NWCN. No credit to “West Seattle Art Attack,” but they did have a banner that said westseattleblog.com and mentioned you guys. Very cool!

Blessings to the “Pumpkin Fairy” who so lifted my spirits by bestowing upon me the delightful “Art Attack” pumpkin on Halloween. My real pumpkins were unceremoniously stolen from in front of my Flower House on Alki the previous day, you see, and I was feeling a bit despondent as a result. I truly cherish the art and the sentiment; what a mood lightener that was!

Eek! There’s a glass pumpkin in my yard! Yay!
We are so excited and honored. We just found the WS blog – and then read about Art Attack – and then got hit! Wow.
We will eagerly follow this story – but anyway, thanks, Art Attack and all our WS neighbors.
