SIGHTING: Loose dog

“He’s a husky/shepherd mix, collar and tags, seemed very confused but ran across the parking lot excited to see me. I petted him and thought he would run to the car that happened to be leaving the parking lot at the same time, but the car left. Doggie went down to the lower level and marked a couple of trees, then headed to the stairwell that goes down to the first level on 30th Avenue SW.
There’s a road crew there doing pavement replacement with signs and traffic control and only one lane for travel. I went looking for the dog but he disappeared.
He’s a little skinny but I didn’t think he was looking for food because he didn’t hang out with me and beg. He just ran off and I lost sight of him. I have no idea where he went and this is all the information I have now. Mostly, he just seemed very confused and anxious.
I’m at the intersection of 30th and Genesee in the Edge Apartments. But I can only report seeing the dog. He may have gone down Nevada, but that’s just a guess.
Wish I could have held onto him but he was definitely searching and anxious to get on his way.”

There is a cat I have never seen before running around our yard for several hours this evening. It is hiding from the rain now in our yard meowing. Very friendly, ran straight over to me, licks my fingers. Admiral/Belvidere area.

FOUND CAT: Northeast of The Junction
My wife and I found this cat near our home off SW Genesee St between 39th Ave SW and 40th Ave SW.
Orange cat with gray zip tie collar with no tag. Friendly, vocal, and hungry. Seems like he recently got out from his home. We are taking him in for the night and will get him scanned for a chip tomorrow morning.

We found a large dog on Alki right by Blue Moon Burgers. It has no identification on it. It appears to be very well nourished and very friendly.
