In the vein of First World Problems, I was bummed to see the new(?) restricted parking area on the south side of the Admiral Safeway this morning. The space that is now reserved solely for ZipCars is well-used by parents dropping off their kids at Lafayette, volunteers at the school, and folks making a quick shopping trip. Seems like there could have been still convenient, yet less-impactful space found on the other side of the street, across from the Sanctuary. Or anywhere else, for that matter. Hopefully we won’t get ticketed if we still use that space to safely drop off kids in the morning, as I can’t imagine it will be overrun with ZipCars….
