Maybe I’m the only one who cannot seem to successfully use the search function in the upper right corner. Can someone teach me?

I have been looking for a thread from less than two months ago. It was about gardens, fruit and veggies. In it, I agreed to be in touch with someone who wanted apples as they ripened. One side of my multi-grafted tree is ready and I can’t find who it was that I had talked to.

And so I don’t have to ask “How did you do that?” if you send me the link; please tell me how you got there. In advance; much appreciation!

it’s really just in your choice of search terms. sometimes using too many is worse than too few in case you have one that wasn’t really in the item you’re looking for.

    i put in flowerpetal apples

    and hit search …

    and it came right up.

@2 – the google sitesearch fixed the problem that existed a long time ago; it searches everything, forum included. I’m pretty sure the only problem here was a matter of choosing the right search terms. In this case, flowerpetal was a given, since that’s FP’s username, and apples seemed to be a slamdunk too.

Yep, that was it. I entered the search words “Fruit and Veggies” and didn’t come up with this thread at all. Duh, silly of me not to think to include my own name in the search.

So much to learn! Thanks TR
